| "Let’s Make A Record" At the Oxide Lounge we believe that all projects deserved to be treated as a full-length record. The record may be two songs, or thirty, but the same care is taken, to make the best recording possible. To do otherwise is to shortchange our clients and their music. This is unacceptable. We are a studio based on options, to offer a wide variety of sounds. This way the producer and artist can have a full pallet to create. The Oxide Lounge has taken a decidedly classic approach to recording. Recording is done to analog tape using a variety of microphones and signal chains. The focus is on getting great performances and building them into a record that everyone can be proud of. All recording is treated with the same passionate, exacting standards. Be it one song or an entire album. The "it’s only a demo" philosophy does not exist here. Every production is treated as if it is the most important recording ever done. |
